St. Martin’s record National Signing Day

Martin's clas- of 20-19 certainly left - its mark... and it showed on- national signing day.

- a baker's dozen football- signees,- headlined by brandon- cunningham's cowbell... that- led the yellowjacket s out of a- 14-year post- - season drought... and back to - the playoffs, the - last two years.

- so here's to the record- settin- class of 20-19... and - it's really not even close.

- everybody got a hat.

I mean i'm- going to be different, man.

Cheering- as st.

Martin's only division i- signee... and one of just 67- players invited to the- first-ever world bowl... brando- cunningham's journey was- different.- even with south beach calling - his name... somewhere - along the way, the four-star- right tackle chose mississippi- state over miami... in what - turned out to be... the best fi- for him.- "that's what really got me.

I wasn't really focused on the- school, the academics, none - of that.

I was just focused on,- i'm in miami.

Then i came to th- - - - realization like you said, i- matured.

And going through this- recruitment process, man, it- will make you - learn how to make life decision- because you only get to choose- one school."

That same rule applies to the - rest of the yellowjacket- class of 20-19... complete with- 13 football signees... and one- girls soccer.

- way more than the previous- high-mark, of five... during- eddie wayne whitehead's - eight-year run... as head coach- "i mean we had plenty of athletes, kalem reddix, wayne - overman, tyler polk.- but this class right here, it - was phenomenal.

Like we did - things that were- said couldn't be done."

"today is a dream come true for me.

I've been waiting for this- day for a long time.- i've been through a lot of- things.

I've said things to - people.

I've told them i'm goin- to- do it and i'm here, and it's- time."

Those emotions also true, for - "ham" mc-gee and norde white..

- - - future teammates at east- mississippi community - college... who embrace the- moment of signing their - national letters of intent... - knowing... that they made it.

- "man, it's so emotional because like i've been at this since i- was like four.

That's like my - whole life, from four like- nonstop.

Every day in and out,- every summer.

It means a- lot to me.

This is the biggest- accomplishment of my life so- far."
