A prankster walked up to a couple on a beach and removed the woman's scarf to reveal a stunning optical illusion.
A video of the magic trick showed the young couple cosying up on a romantic beach, as an older man walked up and yanked the woman's scarf from her head.
The young man had earlier pulled the scarf over his head and had his arm around the woman when the stranger came over and threw the garment up in the air.

After the scarf fell to the ground, the older man then appeared to grab another part of the woman's clothing and began to pull at it.
But this time as he unfurled the much larger scarf he revealed there was no woman at all.
She was just a cardboard cutout wrapped in a long sheet to give the illusion of a seated woman.
The video was recorded in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
