Over 70 of the world’s best women players, including Minjee Lee from Australia, Sung Hyun Park from South Korea, Brooke M. Henderson from Canada, Nasa Hataoka from Japan, and defending champion Jessica Korda from the United States, will compete at this year’s Honda LPGA Thailand 2019 tournament.
This year the Honda LPGA Thailand 2019 features a ‘Dream Big’ a new generation to inspire golfers from all backgrounds and skill levels to pursue their dreams on the links.
There is Junior Golf Clinic on 18 February to support the objective of skill development for young Thai golfers. Junior golfers get to learn from Thai golfer Pajaree “Meow” Anannarukarn and Hina Arakaki from Japan who will be sharing their professional experience with those attending.
A Golf Leaders Conference on 21 February will encourage Thailand’s golf industry to exchange knowledge to promote sustainable golf development.
Other off the official course activities include ‘Beat the Pro’ competition where spectators against with professional golfers, plus a Kids Zone and Chill Zone for children and families. These activities are intended to enhance the fan experience and position Thailand as championship quality golf tourism destination.
