Married at First Sight's runaway groom, Sam Ball, has been slammed by a radio host for making cruel comments about his 'wife' Elizabeth Sobinoff's weight.
On Thursday, the tattooed tradesman called into 2DayFM Breakfast with Grant, Ed & Ash, but host Ed Kavalee hung up after just a few minutes and labelled Sam a 'creep'.
The drama began when Ed played recent audio of store manager Elizabeth accusing Sam of saying she is 'still single because of her weight'.

'Nah I never said that,' Sam replied, laughing. 'Like, I said she's not my type of girl and I was honest about that. But I don't believe I said that.'
Ed then replied: 'Ah, you don't believe you said it... but maybe you might have?
'See, Sam you've got an issue because all of the things you've said that have been captured then that's not really the truth, then everything that [Elizabeth] said that no one saw - people have seen that... so you're really at a disadvantage, you poor thing, aren't you?'

Sam replied: 'Not really, I'm not the victim at all.'
Ed sarcastically responded: 'Wait a minute, "Newsflash: Sam is not the victim". Sam, thank you, you are just one of the great guys. Hang up. I've had [enough of] this bloke. He is the worst!
'He's body shaming a woman on national television and his response is, "Ha ha, she said something about me, everybody online thinks I'm cool".
'This guy is awful. He's an awful, awful creep and he's just laughing it off. He will get something out of this. Someone is going to give this creep a job. It may well be my job and good luck to him.'
On Wednesday, Elizabeth appeared on the same radio show and complained about Sam's comments about her weight.
Ed played the audio for Sam which sparked their tense discussion.
'The comment that really resonated with me was the fact that he turned around and said, "That must be why she's not in a relationship... because it must be a problem with her weight",' Elizabeth said.

Unfiltered opinion: It comes after viewers watched Sam make reference to Elizabeth's body size during their wedding, which was broadcast on Sunday
Sam stood by the comments he made about Elizabeth's weight on 2Day FM, and even accused her of body-shaming him first.
'She is a bigger girl than what I'm used to dating. On top of that, she was very tall, massive personality,' he said.
'The hair extensions, everything was just full on for me. I'm more into natural girls and I just had to be true to myself and be honest really.
'Unfortunately, when she got out of the car I wasn't her type of man either. She thought I was chunky and tubby.'

'She's a bit bigger... hopefully she's into running a lot. You know what I'm like,' he told one of his groomsmen.
During an appearance on the Kyle and Jackie O after the episode aired, Elizabeth said she was stunned after hearing Sam's cruel comments about her appearance.
'He thinks I'm a heifer,' she said. 'And I only found out a few weeks ago that he thought I was a larger lady!'
