The non-immigrant admissions of Indians including H1B visa holders are over 20 lakhs in 2017.

American Telugu Association President Paramesh Bheemreddy told TOI, ”The number of Indians deported is a negligible number. Telugus are only in a single digit. Most of the Telugu origin attorney are good at H1b visa and other immigration procedures. Handling the deportation process is new to them as it is the rarest thing for Telugus,”

He added, ”The US is still a land of opportunities for both job and study. Nothing has changed. For skilled and law-abiding citizens there are always opportunities. If somebody wants to take short cut methods they will be caught. We advise a rightful and legal route for both immigrant and non-immigrants,”

Paramesh Bheemreddy added, ”Out of 10 lakh international students 3.5 lakh are Chinese and 1.9 lakh are Indians. Out of the top five cities that are sending international students to United States Hyderabad is among them.,”

ATA is helping the students who are detained on the charges of enrolling in the fraudulent university floated by ICE.
