The Moto G7 series has finally gone official, with the rumour mill turning out to be right on the mark. The series consists of four models, the Moto G7 Play, Moto G7 Power, Moto G7, and Moto G7 Plus. All four smartphones are based on the Android 9 Pie software and feature fingerprint sensors on the back as well as facial unlock. The series has only been announced in Brazil for now, with no official regarding its India launch at the moment.

Moto G7 Play sports a 5.7-inch display Max Vision display with 19:9 aspect ratio, a wide iPhone X-like notch and HD+ (720 x 1,512 pixels) resolution. It is powered by the 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 632 SoC that is claimed to deliver 60 percent faster performance compared to its predecessor. The smartphone has 2GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage.

On the back of the smartphone is a single 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, while the selfie camera has 8-megapixel resolution and f/2.2 aperture. Connectivity options mentioned by the company include dual-SIM (nano-SIM) support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. It has a 3,000mAh battery. The Moto G7 Play price is set as BRL 999 (about Rs 20,000) and the smartphone will come in Indigo and Aura colours.

Moto G7 Power has a bigger 6.2-inch Max Vision display with the same aspect ratio and wide notch as the Play model and 720 x 1520-pixel resolution. Its highlight is a 5,000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver 55 hours of juice and is said to work up to 8 hours on a charge of 15 minutes. The Power has the same 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 632 SoC and 32GB onboard storage as the Play model but with 3GB of RAM. On the back is a 12-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, while an 8-megapixel sensor with the same aperture does duty in the front. It comes in Lilac and Azul Navy gradient colours and will cost BRL 1,599 (around Rs 26,000).

The Moto G7 has a 6.24-inch full-HD+ Max Vision display a waterdrop notch, while the rear panel has 3D Gorilla Glass curved design. It is also powered by the Snapdragon 632 SoC, packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, and is claimed to be 50 percent faster than the Moto G6. It has dual 12-megapixel (f/1.8) + 5-megapixel (f/2.2) sensors with 1.25-micron pixel size on the back, with dual LED flash and software optimisations for enhanced images. In the front is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. As for the battery, it is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with fast-charging support. The Moto G7 price is BRL 1,599 (approximately Rs 30,000) and comes in Onyx and Polar colour options.

Called “the most premium Moto G ever,” the Moto G7 Plus has a 6.24-inch full-HD+ Max Vision display with a waterdrop notch as well. It is powered by the 1.8GHz Snapdragon 636 SoC, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. The rear panel has a dual camera setup with a 16-megapixel (f/1.7) + 5-megapixel (f/2.2) sensors featuring OIS and 1.22-micron pixel size. In the front is a 12-megapixel selfie camera with 1.25-micron pixels and f/2.0 aperture. On the battery front, the Moto G7 Plus comes with a 3,000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver 11 hours of battery life in 15 minutes and go from zero to 100 percent in 55 minutes. The smartphone also has stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Audio. Finally, the Moto G7 Plus price is BRL 1,899 (roughly Rs 36,000) and it will come in Indigo and Ruby colours.
