With Alita: Battle Angel slated for release on February 8 in India, filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, producer Jon Landau and actor Rosa Salazar share their experiences on working on the film.

The film promises a melding of love and hope into a time of harrowing dystopia. Set eons into the future, abandoned cyborg Alita is found in the scrapyard of Iron City by Ido, a compassionate cyber-doctor who takes Alita to his clinic. The film is based upon Yukito Kishiro’s 90s manga masterpiece Battle Angel Alita, which also branched out into a video game Gunnm: Martian Memory.
