Vadodara: Four persons including a minor and a private hospital’s compounder were booked on Wednesday for lodging a false police complaint with JP Road police station on Tuesday night over personal enmity.
On Wednesday, police detained the boy and arrested his cousin and the compounder, Ghanshyam Parmar, for furnishing false information to the police.

The 17-year-old boy living in Tandalja reached JP Road police station with cuts on his hands and back that were caused by a blade. The boy alleged that Salim Agwan and his son Imran Agwan assaulted him over unknown reasons. When police asked certain questions to the boy, he could not give any satisfactory answer which raised suspicion.

Cops then called Salim and Imran, who claimed that they had not left their house since Tuesday afternoon. The boy then told the police that his uncle and cousin had hatched the plan to teach a lesson to Salim’s nephew Mohsin Bhati. Bhati had registered a complaint against the minor aged boy’s brothers and friends who were involved in a clash in which Bhati was injured.

The boy’s uncle and cousin had decided to first approach the police against Salim and Imran and later make allegations against Bhati’s other family members. The accused took the boy to Ansari Hospital in Tandalja, where Parmar works as compounder, and asked Parmar to make cuts on the boy’s body using a blade.

The police themselves became the complainant and registered an FIR against the boy, his uncle, cousin and Parmar on Tuesday night for giving false information to the police, causing hurt and criminal conspiracy.
