Cat Yeargin, Lily Shields and Morgyn Riedl all finished with 11 points as Bishop Stang defeated Durfee 45-34 in girls' basketball action Friday night.

The victory puts the Spartans into the state tournament as they improved to 10-5.

Abby Fernandes also hit double figures for the Spartans with 10 points.

Apponequet 63, Somerset Berkley 43: Jess Salamone led the Raiders with 14 points, but it wasn't enough as they fell to 7-9.

Austin Macek added 11 points for SB, which hosts GNB Voc-Tech on Friday.

Somerset Berkley held a 38-34 lead at halftime.

Old Rochester 65, Case 57: Alex Levesque led the Cardinals with 16 points, while Logan Sherratt and Jordan Rodrigues each had 14 points, but Case fell to the Bulldogs.

The Cardinals fell to 8-8.
