A young man staying in the Government Law College hostel in Churchgate was found dead in his room on Tuesday afternoon. The Marine Drive police said the deceased, Krishna Kothmire, had moved into the hostel around a month ago.
His friends found him dead in his room when they went to check on him after he failed to turn up for lunch. Officials said that he was preparing to appear for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams and had left a note apologising to his parents and friends. The police have registered an Accidental Death Report.
