Rahul Gandhi to visit Dharampur on February 14

SURAT: Congress President Rahul Gandhi will officially commence his political campaign for the upcoming parliamentary elections from Dharampur in Valsad district on February 14.

Rahul Gandhi will visit the tribal-dominated Dharampur taluka and address a public meeting at Lal Dungari. Sonia Gandhi had addressed a public meeting at Lal Dungari in the previous parliamentary elections. Kadir Peerzada, in-charge of Valsad Congress and AICC member, said, “Congress president will be officially starting his political campaign from Dharmpur’s Lal Dungari in Valsad district. A spot visit of the AICC members and Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) was organized on Tuesday. Party workers have started preparing for the February 14 meeting of the Congress president. He will touch upon the issues concerning tribals and farmers of South Gujarat during his speech.”
