Bhopal: A man stabbed and then threw his live-in partner from the third floor of the house where they lived on Monday night. The incident occurred in Chola Mandir area following an altercation between them. The injured woman is undergoing treatment at Hamidia Hospital where her condition is reported to be critical.
According to Chola Mandir SHO Radheshyam Sengar, the 30-year-old woman Rani Parihar, is a resident of Bhanpur area and works as a vegetable vender. She has three children and after she got separated from her husband she entered into a relation with Gwalior based man named Sanjay aka Sanju Sharma and started living with him in live-in relationship, he added.
The accused Sanjay is also married and has two children and he used to come to Bhopal for cattle trade. Police said on Monday night after the victim returned home, a dispute broke out between the Rani and Sanju after which the accused who was allegedly drunk, stabbed woman in her head and abdomen after which he threw her from the first floor of victim.
After attacking her when he was trying to escape from the crime scene, he was nabbed by the locals and after thrashing him, he was handed over to police whereas the injured woman was rushed to Hamidia Hospital. The accused was booked under relevant sections of IPC. He was produced in the court on Tuesday, which sent him to jail.
