People will go to great lengths to achieve the lengthy lashes of their dreams - but experts are concerned some women are taking this obsession too far.
And recently a woman revealed how she managed to lift her lashes at home for a small price.
She shared a series of photos to the page revealing her transformed lashes which she achieved by using an Asian DIY kit from eBay. There are a variety of at-home lash-lift kits on the site and the one she purchased only cost her around $14.
'Just purchased a DIY lash lift kit, have to say I'm quite impressed. My lashes are so straight usually,' she captioned her post.
It was easy to see how drastically different her eyelashes look after she used the product.

Although her lashes do look impressive, many commenters have warned her and other group members of the dangers associated with using such products.
'Yours look great! You can really see a difference. Please be careful if you're doing this at home ladies, don't put the product at the ends of your lashes or you'll fry them!' One group member said.
Another member warned that these kinds of DIY kits have some serious chemicals included so users must be careful as they are so close to the eye.
A beauty therapist said seeing it made her 'skin crawl' as so many things could go wrong at the hands of users without the right training or knowledge.
'Not saying you don't have any experience because obviously I don't know you, but lash curling can go VERY wrong,' she said.
'You could fry the ends, damage your eyesight or even worse.'
Although Optometry Australia chief optometrist Luke Arundel said he couldn't comment on DIY lash lifts, he said that he does have concerns with eyelash extensions, even if they have been done professionally at a salon.

Optometry Australia chief optometrist Luke Arundel has warned of using chemical-based products around the eyes
'We first raised this issue back in 2010 and since then there has been a steady increase in the number of cases associated with allergic reactions to the glue used to adhere extensions to existing lashes, the loss of natural eyelashes, conjunctivitis and even corneal damage due to tweezer injury,' he said.
'The eye is a very sensitive organ and vital to our wellbeing.
'Whilst we recommend people not to have any beauty procedure that might have a direct impact on the health of the eye, if they do insist on having eyelash extensions, they should understand the risks associated with this procedure.'
This would be the same for DIY lash lifts at home as there is no knowing what chemicals were being used.
'If there is any discomfort after the procedure, any noticeable inflammation of the eyelid, grittiness, blurred vision or loss of the natural eyelashes, you should see your optometrist immediately,' Mr Arundel advised.
