SURPRISE CHECKS IN ALL SUB-REGISTRAR OFFICES OF DISTRICT AT SAME TIME TODAY

THREE OFFICIALS FOUND ABSENT IN DIFFERENT OFFICES
SUCH SURPRISE CHECKS WOULD CONTINUE IN FUTURE AS WELL: ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER (GRIEVANCES)

Ludhiana, February 6, 2019: As per the directions of Punjab government and on orders of Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, surprise checks of all sub-registrar offices of district Ludhiana was carried out by different officials at same time today morning. During the surprise checks, a total of three officials were found absent in different offices.

While providing information, Assistant Commissioner (Grievances) Miss Kanu Garg informed that these surprise checks were carried out in all sub-registrar offices at the same time today morning. She said that two officials of Sub-Registrar office Hambran Road and one official of Tehsil Office Raikot were found absent. This checking was carried out by all SDMs and District Revenue Officer.

She informed that during the surprise checks, arrangements of potable drinking water and toilets were also checked. Besides, necessary directions regarding display board, fee board, service boards of centres etc were also issued.

Miss Kanu Garg informed that they would write for initiating departmental action against the officials found absent to their department. She said that such acts on behalf of the officials would not be tolerated at any cost. She informed that to ensure punctuality amongst the staff, such surprise checks would continue in near future as well.
