Two booked for raping domestic help
tnn | Feb 7, 2019, 04:00 ISTRajkot: A domestic help on Tuesday night lodged a rape complaint against two persons in Khamdhrol Road locality of Junagadh.
According to police, the survivor knew one of the accused by his first name — Mukesh, while she did not know the identity of the other accused.
Mukesh is the owner of the house situated opposite Subhash Academy College. The survivor used to do household work at Mukesh’s house.
“Six months ago, Mukesh had raped her for the first time. Then, he repeatedly raped her several times in the past six months, threatening her with dire consequences, if she did not comply with his demands. When Mukesh’s friend raped her, the survivor decided to lodge a complaint,” said an official from Junagadh taluka police station.
Police have started the process of ascertaining the identities of the accused and launched a manhunt for them.
