He was slammed by viewers for his 'condescending' behaviour towards women at the first Married At First Sight dinner party.
But Mike Gunner seemed unconcerned by the backlash as he enjoyed a surfing session in Coolangatta, on Queensland's Gold Coast, on Tuesday.
The electrician, 45, proved he was still going strong with 'wife' Heidi Latcham, 37, as he wore his wedding ring five months after filming the social experiment.

Bogan pride! Married At First Sight's Mike Gunner revealed his rarely-seen Southern Cross tattoo during a surfing trip in Coolangatta on Tuesday
Carrying his surfboard under one arm, the Gold Coast native displayed his muscular physique in colourful swimming shorts as he walked away from the beach.
He also flashed a glimpse of his rarely-seen Southern Cross tattoo on his left side.
Mike appeared to be in good spirits, seemingly unaware of the MAFS fan backlash that would await him on Wednesday night.

What drama? The electrician, 44, proved he was still going strong with 'wife' Heidi Latcham, as he wore his wedding ring five months after filming the social experiment
During the first dinner party, he was branded 'condescending' and 'sexist' for describing Jessika Power as an 'attractive young girl' and calling Elizabeth Sobinoff 'sweetheart'.
Elizabeth was particularly affronted by the term, telling him: 'Sweetheart? Um... '
Mike later apologised but was nonetheless roasted by furious fans on Twitter.

'If Mike calls one more of these girls "sweetheart" I'm going to throw something,' one person tweeted.
Another wrote: 'Calling a woman sweetheart... Am I the only one that finds that condescending?'
A particularly angry viewer said that Mike sounded like a 'stupid old fart' by using the term.

Not happy, Mike! During the first dinner party, he was branded 'condescending' for describing Jessika Power as an 'attractive young girl' and calling Elizabeth Sobinoff 'sweetheart'
Meanwhile, in a trailer for Sunday's episode, psychologist Mel Schilling snapped at a male participant for using sexist language during a commitment ceremony.
The promo, which aired at the end of Wednesday's show, offered a rare glimpse of Mel losing her temper on camera.
She snarled: 'A tip from me to you: don't use language like that, don't speak about women like that, if you want any chance of a relationship with a woman.'
It's unclear which contestant she is speaking to, but electrician Mike is a likely candidate.

'She's not a bad looking bird!' Mike also admitted he was attracted to Jessika Power (right) after meeting her at the first dinner party - but said he was 'not a fan of Botox in her lips'

Not such a sweet moment! Later in the episode, Mike called Jessika 'sweetheart' - after being scolded by Elizabeth for using the term
