Akshay Karnewar is at the crease for Vidarbha. He was the key figure in the homeside going on to score 300-plus in the first innings. He will need to play another such knock to ensure that his side can post a compeitive total because they are on the verge of getting bundled out for under 150 and handing Saurashtra a gettable target.

Unadkat's second over goes by in an uneventful manner. Chetan Sakariya is now generating some speed, and stand-in keeper Avi Barot is chirpy behind the stumps in a bid to will the bowlers into taking a wicket. The Ranji Trophy rules permit a stand-in keeper at any point in the game.

Saurashtra's lower order fought back, the last wicket pair of Jaydev Unadkat and Chetan Sakariya adding 60 to keep Vidarbha's first-innings lead to just 5. The pitch is tough to bat on, and chasing in the fourth innings won't be an easy task.
