The family of a missing Chinese woman have raised concerns about her welfare after not hearing from their loved one for more than a week.

30-year-old Chen Dong contacted her family last on January 28. She indicated she was in Perth and had visited Fremantle.

The family said they hadn't heard from her since, and considered it out of character.

Ms Dong arrived in WA from China in November 2018.

She is described as about 163cm tall with a slim build and has shoulder length black hair.

Anyone who sees Ms DONG or has any information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.
