Lamborghini is one of the exhibitors at the Retromobile Show in Paris, France, with one special Miura SV that was completely restored by its Polo Storico division.

Made in 1972 and shipped originally to South Africa, this Miura was finished in Rosso Corsa, contrasted by gold accents, over a black leather interior. Now, 47 years later, it still sports the same colors, only everything was either repaired, restored or replaced.

When it arrived in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the Miura SV was far from perfect. It did, however, feature all original parts, and even so, the process took 13 months to complete. The car was completely dismantled, which allowed engineers to check all the details and verify them in the Lamborghini archives.

Nowadays, the car is owned by Jean Todt. The FIA President took delivery earlier this week, at the Polo Storico stand in Paris, and Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali was the one who handed over the keys to its new owner.

Lamborghini actually has two cars at Retromobile, as apart from Todt’s Miura SV there is also a 1966 400 GT. Or, more accurately, most of it and it’s not in great shape as chassis number 0592, which is owned by a Canadian car collector, is currently undergoing a complete restoration by (who else?) Polo Storico.

Those who want to see both vehicles live, as well as other classics, have until February 10 to head over to France’s capital and visit the show.
