BJP MP Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma demands actions against AAP regime

New Delhi, BJP member from West Delhi Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma has raised the issue of alleged panic being created among the electorate by the Arvind Kejriwal government in the capital that their names have been ‘deleted’ from the voters’ list and said such a regime should be dismissed for spreading falsehood.

“Telephone calls are being made by the Delhi government and voters are being told that their names have been deleted….They have tried to spread that around 30 lakh names were missing on voters’ list, but if we go to the Election Commission’s website we don’t find anything like that,” Mr Verma said in Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

“Jo Arvind Kejriwalji kah rahen haen, ki Delhi key 30 lakh vote ke naam cut diye gayen, woh aisa kaisa kah sakten haen (How can the Chief Minister Kejriwal say that names of 30 lakh Delhi voters have been deleten),” the West Delhi representative said.

Mr Verma alleged that the Delhi Education Department has collected telephone numbers of parents of school students and are “misusing” the numbers for political purpose and spreading falsehood.

“The hubs from where the calls are made to parents should be raided. There has to be an FIR, and such a government should be dismissed forthwith,” he demanded.
