Waitress molested near pizza outlet
tnn | Feb 6, 2019, 04:00 ISTVadodara: A 20-year-old waitress of a pizza outlet in Nizampura was molested outside the restaurant on Monday evening.
The accused Sandeep Khant, who works in an auto garage, was nabbed by the owner and manager of the restaurant and handed over to Fatehgunj police station.
According to the woman, Khant was waiting for her outside the restaurant. When she arrived on Monday evening, Khant grabbed her hand and asked her why she was ignoring him. The woman told police that Khant has been talking her for the past six months, but on Monday he forcibly held her hand.
When the woman tried to loosen her hand, Khant told her that he would give her a phone to talk and refused to let go of her. The woman then started shouting after which a crowd gathered there. The manager and the owner of the restaurant too reached there.
The woman then called 181 Abhayam and decided to lodge complaint.
While Khant told police that he had feelings for the woman even before she got married, but the complainant refuted his claims and that she didn’t even know him. She told police that Khant has been loitering around the restaurant for the past six months.
