Bhopal: A man, visiting jail headquarters seeking release of his land encroached ‘erroneously’, has accused ADG jail of abusing and thrashing him. Saif Kadar, a resident of Khanugaon, Bhopal, alleged that ADG Jails G R Meena threatened and thrashed him at his office on Monday.
Kadar has even filed a complaint with Jahangirabad police in this connection. He claimed that he has 10.82 acer land in village Karond which was encroached by two persons. Suresh Meena and Varun Meena had sold their 6000 square feet land from his 10.82 acer land to one Nilesh Khatik, claimed Kadar .
Kadar said that he had requested former leader of opposition Ajay Singh to speak to ADG Jails Meena to help him to get his land released. The Congress leader had reportedly written Meena to help the applicant. On Monday when Kadar along with his relative reached the office of director general jail Sanjay Choudhary, he asked him to meet Meena.
When they reached his office they saw Khatik sitting there. Khatik allegedly threatened him saying that he would avenge if he tried to take the land back. Kadar alleged that Meena also threatened him and even thrashed him. Meena used abusive language and threatened to implicate me in false case and sent them to jail, alleged Kadar. The applicant has filed a complaint with Jahangirabad police. Kadar urged the cops to take the CCTV camera footage of the office and also take the call details of ADG and Varun Meena.
