It isn't uncommon for bars and pubs to insist on customers abiding by a dress code.
And one Sydney venue recently made their strict list of rules public knowledge after posting a picture of the cheeky dress code board on social media.
The management team behind Slims Rooftop - a pink hued bar on the third floor of Hyde Park House near the CBD - shared their tongue-in-cheek list of rules and sparked an amused response from customers.
'Cheap, ill-fitting suits and power ties; seriously, nobody cares up here,' is one of the first things listed.

They have also asked people to not have 'comb-overs' and they won't tolerate 'd***heads' or 'thongs after sunset'.
According to the post staff will also turn away groups in fancy dress and couples who are dressed to match.
Other banned items include 'shoes that you can't walk in', 'sh** chat', 'cargo shorts at all times' and sporting team jerseys.
The owners also don't want to see people in a high-vis kit as 'we've finished building up here', nor do they want those who will be 'creeping'.

They have also asked people not wear 'big granny undies' or 'comb-overs' and they won't tolerate 'd***heads'
All of this considered, they have said that 'w**kers are ok in moderation... We all need a little pleasure sometimes!'.
On the Slims Rooftop website the management team have said that they also do not allow minors, bucks parties, mad-Mondays, overt hen's parties and 18th and 21st birthdays.
This is because they're 'all about fun but not at the expense of everyone else'.
