Kyle Sandilands has revealed a shocking incident that got him blacklisted from Hollywood for 10 years. 

The KIIS FM host recalled how he stepped in after Will Ferrell's publicist allegedly told off a tearful Jackie 'O' Henderson for mispronouncing the A-list actor's surname when he appeared on their show in 2013. 

The shock jock, 47, claimed that he flew into a rage and threatened to 'bash everyone to death' and said he got the powerful agent kicked out of the studios.

Kyle revisited the incident on The Kyle And Jackie O Show on Tuesday, explaining that he lost his temper when Jackie apparently got scolded for putting emphasis on the wrong part of actor Will's last name 'Ferrell'.    

'She started to cry and then I went out there and threatened to bash everyone to death,' he said. 

'And then they [security] threw them out,' he claimed. 'Then they all panicked and banned us from talking to all these celebrities for about 10 years.'

Jackie agreed: 'Yep, we really got punished for that one.'

Sandilands previously claimed he told the agent: 'Get out of here! You've got five seconds before I knock your teeth out!' 

He clarified that Will Ferrell 'didn't do anything wrong (but) his publicist did,' and added: 'I said "I'll slap you around, b***h!" in front of everyone.'

'Long story short, the guy made Jackie cry,' Kyle said. 'He thought he was some big, powerful publicist from America and that he could speak to Jackie like a dog. 

'Well he soon realised he was in the wrong place... he was very nervous.'

Jackie then revealed the incident still affected her over four years later, saying: 'I still hate the thought of it, though.'

Kyle insisted that he would always stand up for Jackie and his other KIIS FM colleagues.

'I did it because you were upset and you were crying and thought, "Who's this dog think he is? In our place?"' he said.

Kyle added that there were consequences for him taking a stand against the publicist, but he doesn't regret what he did.

He claimed: 'We got banned for 10 years for talking to any of those celebrities, because apparently he is one of the biggest publicists in the world.

'That really caused us some grief.. but I could care less.'
