Letter to the Editor: Charley Soares writes as well as he fishes - with excellence

Another excellent and evocative column ("Bait box chowder: Scraping together a meal," Feb. 3) by Charley Soares. I guess the old saying applies to fish as well as other things: “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure."

In these days when storage bins abound and TV shows focus on how to deal with so much stuff, Soares reminds us of how to make much of very little.

Charley Soares is our local treasure.
