4 of family die in accident
TNN | Feb 5, 2019, 22:22 ISTVaranasi: Four members of a family were killed while a child was injured seriously in a collision of motorcycle and car near Panihari village in Chaubeypur area on Monday. The car driver managed to flee from the scene.
The deceased were identified as Soni Devi (35), wife of Ghansyam Ram of Ramrepur village in Sarnath area, nephew Ashish (22), daughters Mahima (6) and Khushi (3). Another daughter Suman (10) sustained injuries in the mishap.
Reports said that they were crossing through Panihari village when their motorcycle collided with a car. The police rushed the injured to the Chiraigaon primary health centre. Soni and Khushi died on the spot while Ashish and Mahima succumbed to injuries at the hospital. Suman was referred to DDU district hospital. The car has been seized, and efforts are on to nab cars owner and driver, said the police.
