The best and worst movie trailers from the Super Bowl
The on-field action may have been anti-climactic, but while the football fizzled, the pop culture attractions more or less scored.
Here's a look at the big movie trailers unveiled during Monday's game, from the lacking to the best.
Toy Story 4 (June 20)
Pixar's teaser doesn't feature any of the "emotional" heart-pull Tom Hanks and Tim Allen promised in behind-the-scenes production pics posted on social media last month.
But, with comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele on board, tormenting Buzz Lightyear at a fairground carnie stand, it's an amusing visit from old friends.

Alita: Battle Angel (February 14)
"The must-see cinematic 3D event of the year" touts this teaser for the much-delayed $US200 million blockbuster from producer James Cameron and director Robert Rodriguez, which is quite a few convenient disclaimers.
It's only saved by the personality on show from Mahershala Ali and lead Rose Salazar, and a great reaction from the stuntman kicked in the face at its close.
Score: C
Avengers: Endgame (April 24)
"Some people move on, but not us," says Captain America Chris Evans, perhaps echoing a line delivered by one of Disney's higher-ups in an internal board meeting as the billion-dollar gross from another Marvel blockbuster beckons.
The teaser also gives us glimpses at the concerned mugs of Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr, Jeremy Renner and Bradley Cooper's Rocket Raccoon – truly an all-star burst of face-acting.
Score: B-
Captain Marvel (March 7)
Is that Maverick and Goose? No, it's Brie Larson and Lashana Lynch, vowing to go "higher, further, faster, baby" in Marvel's other would-be blockbuster.
The Super Bowl spot includes glimpses of Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law and our own Ben "Mendo" Mendelsohn, but Larson shooting through the sky like a fiery Cheezel is more than enough.
Score: A-
Wonder Park (April 4)
Soundtracked by Poison's Nothing But a Good Time, the trailer for this family flick from Spanish animation studio Ilion focuses on a young orphan's delightful excursion into her DIY creativity.
With an army of critters called "chimpanzombies" and late-night satirist John Oliver voicing a particularly neurotic porcupine, it promises to be an original oddity.
Score: A
Us (March 14)
The original trailer for Jordan Peele's follow-up to his Oscar-winning hit Get Out went viral in December, with its charming Luniz singalong morphing into a frightening home invasion horror.
The Super Bowl spot puts a more expository focus on Lupita Nyong'o's matronly Adelaide, although a random shot of some freak with blades for arms running off like a toddler to their potty is ridiculously unsettling.
Score: A
Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw (August 1)
"I'm what you call an ice-cold can of whoop-ass," say The Rock. "I'm what you might call a champagne problem," says Jason Statham. "I'm a necessary shock to the system," says Idris Elba, playing a rogue MI6 bad guy named Brixton.
Also, a rally car flies out of a skyscraper window into a hovering helicopter. Call the game, we have our Tom Brady of Super Bowl movie spots.
