Don’t think cars, bikes or anything electronic here! Because Telugu tinsel town’s young star Ram Pothineni has something more valuable up his sleeve it seems. Well, at least that’s what emerged when director Puri Jagannadh shared a glimpse of the “expensive” gift that Ram, who’s teaming up with him in iSmart Shankar, gave him.
Also known as civet coffee, Kopi Luwak is made of the partially digested coffee cherries that are eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet. Interestingly, fermentation of the coffee bean apparently takes place while passing through the civet’s intestines!
We hear that Puri harbours a love for coffee and when Ram was looking for something special to gift him, he decided to pick this up on one of his trips abroad. The duo have been the talk of the town ever since they announced their project together. This is the first time the duo is teaming up on screen despite being in the industry for a very long time now.

After Puri posted pictures of himself taking a sip of the coffee, the film’s lead actress Nabha Natesh responded, “Whoaaa was kinda hoping this happens when I was on the sets @purijagan @ramsayz #CoffeeLovers #ismartshankar (sic).”
Puri kept it simple and responded: “Ismartcoffee is waiting for u (sic).”
