Her 'husband' Sam Ball fled to New Zealand the morning after their wedding so he could attend the funeral of his ex-girlfriend's mother.
And Married At First Sight's Elizabeth Sobinoff found herself abandoned once again on Tuesday when she was forced to appear solo on the Today show.
Usually MAFS contestants are interviewed as couples on Today - even if they are no longer together - but 27-year-old Elizabeth had to face the questions alone.

Elizabeth told co-hosts Georgie Gardner and Deborah Knight that it was hard to re-watch the scenes where Sam, 26, abandons her before their honeymoon.
'He seemed like prince charming on the day,' Elizabeth said of their wedding day.
'Seeing it unfold in front of my eyes right now, you really do question a lot,' she added, before insisting that she has 'no regrets' about the show.

On their wedding day, which aired on Sunday, Sam shocked viewers when he criticised Elizabeth's weight.
'I've never really dated girls as big as Elizabeth in the past,' he told producers.
Later on, he confessed to one of his groomsmen: 'She's a bit bigger... hopefully she's into running a lot. You know what I'm like.'
On Monday's show, he abruptly left the experiment so he could attend a funeral in New Zealand - leaving Elizabeth heartbroken and confused.

During an interview on Nova FM's Fitzy & Wippa on Tuesday, Elizabeth hinted that Sam didn't stay in touch with her after flying overseas.
'He's a very different type of person. He's not... he's in his own world. He's literally in his own world,' Elizabeth said when asked if Sam called her everyday while he was in New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Sam spoke to KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O that same morning to address rumours he 'faked' the funeral to avoid spending time with his new bride.
Host Kyle Sandilands said: 'We're just talking about when you got in that taxi to go to the "funeral". I said that I would also lie and say anything to get out of that situation!'

'I am shocked,' Sam replied. 'I can't believe everyone thinks it's a lie. Of course [it's not a lie].'
The part-time model sounded angry and impatient when co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson asked for proof the funeral actually happened.
'It was quite an emotional moment, I was even tearing up in front of Elizabeth. It was terrible, it was the worst timing,' he said.
Sam also denied being secretly happy his ex-girlfriend's mother had died so he had an excuse to avoid his honeymoon with Elizabeth.
