Three school students drowned off Marina beach on Friday.
The police said a group of 15 students came from a school in Selaiyur on Friday. A strong tide swept three students — Sathishkumar, 14, Vinothkumar, 14, and Senthilkumar — away, as they were frolicking in the water.
They were feared dead and the police, with the help of the fishermen, launched a search.
Their bodies washed ashore in three different places on Saturday.
