A thoroughly depressing British documentary examining why women in the UK earn 14 per cent less than their male counterparts. From the entitled old bigot (and former MP) who considers it "astonishing narcissism" for women to believe they add value to corporations when appointed to senior positions to the big supermarket chain paying male shelf stackers in its warehouses up to 40 per cent more than the female shelf stackers in its stores, it's an all too familiar tale.

Do you remember The Stig from Top Gear? Remember the ridiculous ways Jeremy Clarkson used to introduce him? Mark Humphries has started channelling that absurd humour in his nightly introductions to Dr Andrew Rochford, and it's become a highlight of every episode. That, and his pronouncements about what will happen to the couple that ends round one with the highest score. Some pretty grizzly fates await them.

Travel Guides is mostly just fun: watching quirky people flail around in unfamiliar locations. It's also good clean fun. All these very different people may occasionally behave like idiots but they're always respectful and open-minded. There's none of the ugly Aussie abroad here. But Travel Guides also delivers on its title, providing genuine insight into the destination du jour. Tonight that's Hawaii, where our friends take in the delights of Oahu and the Big Island.
