Indore: The two-day wall painting event ‘Graffathon 2.0’ organised by Pratibimb, the fine arts and photography club of Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), began in college premises on Saturday. About 40 teams have been formed with 320 participants.
Of them, 60 percent are girls. Event is open for all age groups and students of all colleges. It is an overnight event in which 40 walls of college will be painted under direction of college director Prof RK Saxena. The event is being held in two rounds. In first round, participants submitted one to three paintings on A3 paper sheet.
Top 40 paintings were selected from submitted entries. Theme for painting isengineering, save girl child, women empowerment, clean India and pop culture. Apart from painting, open mic, acoustic bonfire, flash mob, bike stunts, artgallery and live cake baking show were organised. Organising committee students shared their experiences on day one with “Atmosphere was fun filled. There were great performances in the open mic. I enjoyed bonfire.”
