Amid a busy day of public addresses and announcements in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took time off to visit the famous Dal Lake in Srinagar.
In the videp, PM Modi can be seen relaxing on a boat while taking a tour of the famous Dal Lake, the second-largest in the state.
As customary, Modi waved at people from the boat while enjoying the view of the snow-capped mountains surrounding the urban lake, also known as the "jewel in the crown of Kashmir".
Narendra Modi was in Jammu and Kashmir on a day-long visit to Jammu, Leh, and Srinagar. The prime minister laid the foundation for two All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) - one in Jammu and the other in Srinagar.

Interacting with people in the state, Modi dedicated a number of developmental projects in the state ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
A key highlight of PM Modi's speech today was the declaration that the state now boasts of 100 per cent household electrification due to the government's Saubhagya scheme.
During his public addresses in Jammu and Leh, the prime minister slammed the Congress party for not living up to the expectations of farmers while in power and spoke about the present government's efforts to curtail agrarian distress.
PM Modi also reached out to Kashmiri Pandits during his rally in Jammu. "We have not forgotten their (Kashmiri Pandits) persecution. I always feel their pain, and am committed to delivering justice," he said.
Both Narendra Modi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi have stepped up their campaigning efforts with the 2019 Lok Sabha elections due in April-May.
