Married At First Sight is set to feature a 'runaway' bride or groom on the current season.
Now Channel Nine has released a promotional teaser clip promising the 'runaway' participant will be revealed during the 'final weddings' phase this week.
The explosive trailer clip, which aired at the end of Sunday night's episode of MAFS, features a dramatic male voiceover who announces: 'The runaway is revealed!'

While it's understood the final four contestants on the social experiment are set to tie the knot this week, it's unclear whether the 'runaway' castmember is among the remaining couples or is already 'married.'
In upcoming episodes, makeup artist, Martha Kalifatidis, 30, appears to be paired with primary school teacher, Michael, 27.
While legal assistant, Ines Basic and former stripper, 34, Bronson Norrish are poised to say 'I do.'

However there's speculation mounting Ines Basic could be the mystery 'runaway' bride after she revealed she came dangerously close to jilting her 'husband' Bronson at the altar.
Speaking to Who magazine last week, Ines explained she nearly quit the series when she discovered her 'husband' used to be a stripper.
'When taking the photographs, I was told my groom was a stripper I was like, "Oh my god, no!" I wanted to run away. I didn't want to be there,' she said.

High standards: The legal secretary also told Who magazine that she didn't take kindly to her groom's appearance at the ceremony, saying: 'His shirt was untucked and I didn't like that'
The Bosnian-born beauty also revealed she didn't take kindly to her groom's appearance at the ceremony, saying: 'His shirt was untucked and I didn't like that.'
She added: 'I also thought we'd have nothing in common. Our lives were so different and I was worried he would have no sense of humour. He hardly spoke.'
However, she said that viewers will be 'surprised' by how their marriage ends up.

That didn't take long! Ines has already been branded the show's 'villain' following her debut last week - and her wedding scenes haven't even aired yet

Opinionated: In her introductory video, she was shown taking selfies while declaring: 'On my wedding day, it's important I look hot... One of my hobbies is just being in my bikinis'
