Indore: Twenty-seven-year-old Karan Parke, who left his workplace for home on Saturday around 8 pm did not return home, instead his body was found on Sunday morning in the Urdu School premises under Raoji Bazaar police station jurisdiction. His family had lodged a missing report with the police just before the body was found. The motive will be known only after the identity of the accused is revealed. The deceased, a resident of Doctor Colony, Nanda Nagar area of the city. Police said he was employed at an auto parts shop of his maternal uncle in Biyabani area.
Karan’s parents contacted his maternal uncle to know about his whereabouts and enquired about him in the vicinity but their hunt failed to evoke any results. The family members on Sunday reached Pardeshipura police station and lodged a missing report. After few minutes, family members were informed about the body recovered at Urdu School. SI Baghel of Raoji Bazaar said the incident was discovered when children playing there spotted the blood-stained body. They immediately alerted local residents after which police were informed. Police managed to identify him on the basis of his mobile phone. A deep injury mark was found on his head and two stab injuries were on his legs. Police said the killers first attacked him with a stone or brick and later stabbed him due to which he died.
Police believed that he was called by someone there and later he was killed but the reason behind the incident could not be pieced together. Police were clueless about the killers till this report was filed. The CCTVs installed around the spot are also being examined by the police. Also, police are investigating the case on the aspect of old rivalry.
