Ambala police, Karnal STF arrest most-wanted PO

AMBALA: Acting on a tip-off and with the support of a special task force, Karnal, the district police have managed to arrest a wanted proclaimed offender, Sahil.
The accused, a resident of Banondi village in Shahzadpur of the district, was booked under Section 332, 333, 307, and 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Panjokhra police station on March 27, 2017, for allegedly attacking a police team near Dehri village on Shahzadpur-Ambala road.
The cops said that Sahil had a prize money of Rs 50,000 on his head. He was declared a proclaimed offender by the court of chief judicial magistrate Swati Sehgal on July 18, 2018.
