Mumbai: Skipper Jay Bista led from the front and with responsible all-round performances as MCA Colts went on to register a convincing 58-run victory against last year’s runners-up Cricket Club of India (CCI) in the second semi-final of the Nirlon Ltd. sponsored RFS Talyarkhan Memorial Invitation Cricket, at the Bombay Gymkhana. After being sent in to bat first, Bista scored a quick fire 64 runs as MCA Colts posted a challenging total of 174 runs for the loss of four wickets from the stipulated 20 overs. Later, with the ball, Bista came up an impressive 2 for 18, while at the other end Tanush Kotian did his best claiming four wickets as CCI were bundled out for 116 runs in 17.1 overs to secure. This assured them a place in the summit clash wherein they will clash with Parsee Gymkhana.
