Married At First Sight's Elizabeth Sobinoff reportedly threw 'a very public tantrum' during an argument with her 'husband' Sam Ball on their wedding night.

While the store manager, 27, appeared to be head over heels during Sunday night's episode, an insider told Woman's Day that chaos erupted inside the pair's Sydney hotel room.

'She was furious, she threw herself against the wall and sulked,' the source claimed.

'Those two are like chalk and cheese... If you ask me, they won't last very long,' added the insider.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.

It's unclear exactly what upset Elizabeth back at the hotel, as she seemed to be delighted with her 26-year-old groom during their wedding.

The glamorous blonde was eager to consummate their marriage and even wore racy red lingerie for the occasion.

'So, my thoughts about sex on the first night - if you're feeling it, you're feeling it. I mean, I would not say no. I mean, it's my wedding night!' she said.

She added: 'The experts, like, definitely got it right.'

However, the feeling was not mutual, as Sam repeatedly complained about her appearance and said he did not want to have sex on their wedding night.

'I don't know if she's going to want to go all the way. I actually hope she doesn't,' he confessed.

During the wedding reception, Sam made reference to Elizabeth's body size.

'She's a bit bigger... hopefully she's into running a lot. You know what I'm like,' he told one of his groomsmen.

During a preview for Monday night's episode, it was revealed that one of the grooms flees shortly after his wedding night.

'A morning-after bombshell as one of our grooms bolts,' a voiceover announced.

It is unclear if Sam is the runaway husband.

Over already? A source told Woman's Day that Elizabeth and Sam aren't a good match, saying: 'Those two are like chalk and cheese... If you ask me, they won't last very long'
