Pune aggregator cabbie ‘molests’ woman, arrested

Representative imagePUNE: The Hinjewadi police on Thursday arrested a 20-year-old driver of a cab aggregating company for allegedly touching a woman passenger, sitting next to him, inappropriately.
The 30-year-old woman alleged in the complaint that the driver touched her twice, once under the pretext of changing the cab’s gear and then while pretending to pet her puppy. She was on her way to visit a veterinarian in Kothud.
The suspect has been arrested under section 354 (assault or criminal force on woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code. TNN
