Rishi Shukla was removed as DGP four days ago

Bhopal: Rishi Shukla’s appointment as CBI director has come as a tight slap on state government”s face. Though, he has refused to make any comment in media after his posting, he was removed over a law and order situation. He had refused to get FIR filed against Delhi Police as demanded by Congress leaders on the arrest of activist Abhishek Mishra. It was said that Shukla”s refusal led to his removal. Though Shukla has refused to make any comments officially on his new assignment but it is said that his image of an honest officer helped in his appointment as CBI director.
