Narrow escape for Sachkhand Express passengers as engine decouples from bogies in Maharashtra

MUMBAI: The passengers of Amritsar-Nanded Sachkhand Express had a narrow escape when its engine got decoupled from the bogies in Maharashtra's Aurangabad district, on Saturday morning.
The incident took place between Daulatabad and Aurangabad stations. The decoupling took place around 11am due to a defect after the train left Daulatabad station. No passengers were reported injured in the incident.
Sachkhand Express runs daily between the cities of Huzur Sahib Nanded in Maharashtra and Amritsar in Punjab. This train links two famous Sikh shrines. The train is named after Sachkhand Sahib Gurudwara situated in Nanded. The train continued its journey after minor maintenance work was carried out.
