Stolen guitars and cannabis operation uncovered in police search

Two men who allegedly stole as many as nine guitars in an aggravated burglary were arrested on Friday after ACT Policing searched a Gungahlin home.

During the search, police uncovered a "sophisticated cannabis cultivation set up", which included 20 mature cannabis plants and 50 seedlings.

The officers also discovered a stun gun and stolen property, including the guitars.

The men were charged with a number of offences, including aggravated burglary, cultivating cannabis, possessing a prohibited weapon, theft and unlawful possession of stolen property.

They were due to face the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday.

Police are calling for anyone with information that may assist police with their investigation into these matters to come forward.
