President Donald Trump was headed off to golf at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday morning, as he enjoyed his brief relaxation trip in anticipation for the State of the Union.

Trump was wearing his reading glasses as he rode in the motor-pool on Saturday morning in West Palm Beach, and he was seen checking his phone.

The President was sporting a red hat with the number 45 on the side, along with a white polo.

He was joined by a motorcade of Secret Service vehicles

He was later seen wearing black trousers and white shoes to accompany the look at the Jupiter course.

Later video showed him talking with golf legend Jack Nicklaus as Tiger Woods takes a shot in the background.

Trump is then seen taking his own shots with some balls on the green.

He said on Twitter: 'Great morning at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida with @JackNicklaus and @TigerWoods!'

Trump, along with First Lady Melania and son Barron, will spend Saturday and Sunday at his resort in West Palm Beach before returning to the White House on Sunday night to finalize preparations for the State Of The Union address next week.

In the meantime, the President will host a lavish watch party for Super Bowl LIII on Sunday evening at nearby Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach.

On Friday, Air Force One landed at Palm Beach International at 6.54pm, and Trump emerged minutes later with his trusty black umbrella in hand, Melania and Barron at his side.
