Minor boy abducted from tuition
TNN | Feb 2, 2019, 07:10 ISTThe police have booked unidentified persons for allegedly kidnapping a minor boy of Prem Nagar. In his complaint, boy’s mother Krishna Devi said his son went to his tuition on Wednesday at 8.30am, but didn’t return home. She alleged that his son was kidnapped by someone. On being informed, the cops lodged an FIR against the unidentified accused under Section 346 (Wrongful confinement in secret) of the IPC. Police is yet to identify and arrest the accused.
Man held for illegal liquor trade
The police have arrested a person for allegedly illegal trade of liquor in the city. The accused has been identified as Vipan of Kanka village. Investigating officer Kulwant Singh of the anti-narcotic cell said they were patrolling near Green Land School and the accused was coming from other side. On seeing the police cops, Vipan tried to flee, but was nabbed. Police recovered 11 bottles of liquor from him and registered a case against him under Sections 62, 1, 14 of the Excise Act.
