Indore: Shri Punjabi Sewa Sansthan will organise Punjabi Fun and Food Festival at Omni Residency on Sunday to bring people closer to Punjabi culture and cuisines. The festival was announced in a press conference in the city on Friday. President of Sansthan Dr DK Taneja said, “The main motto behind organising such fests and events is to bring together Punjabi families of Indore and nearby places.” Many attractions like lucky draw, talk show and games have been organised.
Secretary of the Sansthan Ashok Baweja said, “We have invited Punjabi anchor and cooks especially for the event.” Along with Punjabi food, people will enjoy Punjabi songs, Bhangra and Gidda. Members of the organisation will also participate in cultural activities. More than 50 families will put up stalls of various Punjabi cuisines on the occasion.
