NEW DELHI: The Lucknow University has declared the results of the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) first semester, on Friday. The B.Sc result was worse than BA and B.Com courses. In the Lucknow University’s B.Sc course, about a 50.09% of the students have failed.

On the other hand, only 9.95% students in B.Com first semester and 23.79% students in BA failed. All the students can check their results on the University's official website -www.lkouniv.ac.in.

As per the sources, the number of students who have passed in B.Sc has declined considerably which is only about 20-25%.

Although students are failing much in the first semester, they do not need to be scared. Even after failing in the first semester system, the student will get admission in second semester. As per the University's policy, this time the complete failing students of the first semester, will also be promoted in second semester.

This means the students who have failed in the examination, will be given an opportunity to pass the paper, along with the third semester examination. The student will have to give the third semester and first semester exams in which this time he/she has failed. In the third semester, if students don’t fail, only then they will be promoted in fourth semester.
