A female paedophile who filmed herself sexually abusing a young child was jailed for nine years after a friend found the sickening videos on her phone.
Kristy Kimber, 26, stored videos of sexual abuse on her mobile device and shared them with others through an instant messaging app.
She had asked a friend to repair the phone, and laughed after telling him not to look at any of the videos stored on it when she handed it over on July 20.
A spokesman for Kent Police said that when the phone was inspected, footage was discovered of Kimber abusing a child and she was arrested shortly afterwards.
Maidstone Crown Court heard that the videos featured some of Kimber performing a sex act on herself, but one included a child using a sex toy on a woman, KentOnline reported.
Kimber's friend had found the videos after 'curiosity got the better of him' but he was 'mortified about what he saw', the court was told.
'He said he was shaking with shock and anger. He telephoned the police and told them what he had found,' prosecutor Martin Yale said.

At her sentencing, Judge David Griffith-Jones QC said Kimber had 'committed an extraordinarily wicked catalogue of offences', adding that 'the depravity these offences reveal is frankly breathtaking', it was reported.
Officers seized a second mobile phone which when checked was also found to contain videos of Kimber forcing a child to engage in sexual activity.
Kimber, from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, admitted six counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, four counts of taking indecent photographs of a child and three counts of distributing indecent photographs of a child.

She also admitted further charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and sexual assault of a child.
Kimber was sentenced to nine years and four months imprisonment and was made subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Detective Inspector Rob Chitham of the Paedophile Online Investigation Team said: 'Kristy Kimber was responsible for the systematic sexual abuse of a very young child. She has made a number of videos which clearly show the child in distress and has then gone on to share images of the abuse.
'It is extremely rare for a woman to be responsible for these type of sexual offences, however the sentence passed by the courts demonstrates just how abhorrent her actions were.
'This conviction is part of a wider ongoing investigation by Kent Police involving other suspects who we are linking to facilitating, inciting or participating in the sexual abuse of children.'
