Mandir Construction

It is yet not clear whether it is with connivance of Yogi Adityanath Government of Uttar Pradesh or in defiance of the Central and State Governments and the Supreme Court the Param Dharma Sansad of the Sadhu Samaj has declared that Shankaracharya Swaroopanand will lay foundation stone of Ram Mandir on February 21 to begin the construction work.

The Dharma Sansad said that the Sants were ready to face arrest and even police firing but would not desist from the contraction works. It shows that they are in a defiant mood and have lost patience over the extra ordinary delay in the settlement of Mandir either at Government or Judiciary level.

The structure of Babri Masjid was demolished by the Hindu Mandir zealots on December 6 in 1992 when there has Bhartiya Janata Party Government of Chief Minister Mr.Kalyan Singh was in power in Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier he gave an undertaking before the Supreme Court that he would protect the Babri Masjid against Vandalism but it was demolished. The Supreme Court took it as contempt of the Supreme Court and sentenced Mr.Kalyan Singh to one month imprisonment.

Later the Samajwadi Party came into the power its Chief Minister was Mr.Mulayam Singh. At that time also various organizations as supporters of Mandir Construction declared that would construct the Ram Mandir without any permission or sanction of Central or State Government. It was total defiance of the Government to launch “Kar Seva (Voluntary Service) to Mandir construction.

The Mulayan Singh Government with full state mite and force suppressed the “Kar Seva” and it was not carried out. Now it depends on the attitude and role of UP Government of Yogi Adityanath defends what attitude it would adopt on the laying of foundation stone of Mandir Construction.

It is yet not known where the foundation will be laid. Whether it will be at the disputed site 0.313 acres of the land, which is under the dispute and hearing of the Supreme Court on Mandir land of 42 acres of land. The February 21 is going a D-Day or red letter day in Ayodhya.
