AMARAVATI: Various political parties and organisations have called for a state-wide bandh on Friday over their demand of a special status for AP.

Leaders including Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu wore black in solidarity with protesters.

While Congress, CPI and CPM are supporting the bandh, YSRCP and the ruling TDP are not participating in the bandh but have extended their support to the demand of special category status.
