The budget has neglected Ernakulam city, with no project worth its name being mentioned, Hibi Eden, MLA, has said.

The government refused to allot funds for 13 roads that need urgent development. Little funds had been allotted, except for ₹2.7 crore to develop the Ernakulam boat jetty premises. Moreover, work on Vaduthala, Vathuruthy and Atlantis overbridges had not begun, though they were included in KIIFB. All this shows that the government was playing politics in the budget, he said.
